The original design for Le Louvre artwork does not survive, the various printed designs represent Kahan’s commercial illustration activity and his continuing connections with fashion, where he started his career. The designs were created for his lifelong friend Miss Lillian Wightman, who was founder of the Melbourne fashion boutique.
