From Act II Scene I, the set design is of the Rhododendron Garden at Windsor. This includes rhododendrons mounted on grass stands with a long, semi-circular white garden seat in front of them. On the left of the photograph is Adrienne Augarde as Lady Gwendolen Ashley. She wears a long white dress and her dark hair is tied up. She is sitting with her hands outstretched on the table in front of her and her fingers interwoven. Her hat, trimmed with ribbons and a rhododendron, is on the table. On the right of the image is Julian L'Estrance as Sir Dorian March. He is wearing a black suit with a black waistcoat and has dark hair and a moustache. He is sitting on the bench and has his arms outsrteched on the back of the seat. |
