Physical description
Costume design by Lotte Collett for Goldilocks and the Three Bears in the pantomime Mother Goose at the Hackney Empire, 2014. The design shows four figures dressed as the fairy-tale characters. Baby Bear, the figure on the far left, wears grey school shorts with a red belt, grey socks and shoes, a yellow checked scarf, and a black cap with a red school crest, topped with brown furry bear ears. On his top half he wears a brown furry top with long sleeves that extend into 'bear paw' mittens covering the hands. On the second left, Mother Bear wears the same brown furry top, underneath a pink tea-length dress patterned with pink roses. She wears black shoes and a black beret topped with brown furry bear ears. To her right, Goldilocks wears a yellow with a white apron trimmed in pink, underneath a pink corset. She wears pink tights, yellow shoes, and two pink ribbons in her hair. On the far right, Father Bear wears a brown furry top that covers his hands, grey trousers and matching waistcoat, a white collar and a yellow-and-red striped tie. He wears brown shoes, a black hat with brown bear ears, and carries a black umbrella. The design is marked with Lotte Collett's stamp.
