TitleLarge Dark Disc Vessel (assigned by artist)
Materials and techniques
It is pate de verre, which I make by fusing the glass paste in situ in a refractory mould which is cast from a clay model. The form and details are decided at the clay stage but as I progress with the work, once the glass has been fired , I define and refine it by hand polishing and filing to achieve a time-worn quality.
