The poster announces the performance of 'The enormously successful Concert Party' and its 'first class cast' including 'the incomparable Alice Delysia', and Harry Robbins (xylophonist), Harry Tait (pianist), George Hancock ('Carl Rosa Baritone'), Doreen Bristol ('a Nightingale Sang'); Frank Norris and Hilda Ciro (accordionists), Carl Carlisle and Virginia Carrol ('the celebrated B.B.C. Mimic'), and Alf Thomas ('Mrs. Thomas's Favourite Husband').
French actress and singer Alice Delysia (1889-1979) became a star of the London stage after appearing in C.B. Cochran's revue Odds and Ends in 1914. During World War II she joined ENSA, the Entertainments National Service Association, and toured in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, bringing a touch of West End glamour to a range of revues, including armed services clubs such as the Britannia.
