Costume design by George Sheringham (1884-1937) for 'Kate' in a production of The Pirates of Penzance, 1929. The design is executed in watercolour on card. It features a full length, profile, image of a women wearing a blue, green and white dress with a full, bell shaped, skirt and long sleeves. She also has pale green shoes and a blue, white and green bonnet. Her left hand is resting on her skirt and her right hand is gesturing towards her left shoulder.
