Costume design by Wilhelm (1858-1925) for 'King Gama' in the original production of Princess Ida, at the Savoy Theatre, 1884. The design is executed in watercolour on card. It features a full length image of a man dressed in blue and green slashed doublet and trunk hose under a gold and brown gown with hanging sleeves. His left hand is slightly upraised and he is holding a narrow brown cane in his right hand.
