Physical description

Costume design by James Wade for 'Florian' in Act I of a production of Princess Ida, at the Savoy Theatre, 1954. The design is executed in watercolour and pencil and features three side views of a pair of boots, executed in tones of blue, white and black. A section of dark green leather and dark green cotton velvet has been attached to the design with sellotape.
