This letterpress playbill advertises a Benefit performance for Redigé Paulo, or Signor Paulo, at Wolverhampton Theatre on Friday 16th August, 1833. A wide variety of acts was on offer, including the: 'rustic ballet of action' The Dusty Millers, or Clod in the Sack featuring Signor Paulo as Cloddy Numbskull; Tom Ellar as Lubin; Mr. Wheatsheaf as Grist the Miller, and Mrs. Loveday as Annette the Miller's daughter. During the ballet Tom Ellar and Mrs. Loveday performed: a 'Scotch Minuet and Lilt' and a Reel, and Ellar danced a Hornpipe, blindfolded, over a dozen eggs, wearing wooden clogs. The 'petite comedy' Old and Young, was performed by Messrs. Griffiths, Loveday and Laney, and Mesdames Griffiths and Thompson, after which Mr. Ellar imitated poses of classical sculptures on a podium in his: 'popular and classical performance' The Venetian Statue. The laughable farce The Wrangling Lovers; or Like, Master, Like Man featured Mr. Griffiths as Don Carlos; Mr. Loveday as Sancho his Man; Mr. Laney as Lopez; Miss Thompson as Donna Leonora, and Mrs. Griffiths as Jacintha.

The 'new favourite pantomime' Puck & the Pudding, or Harlequin Quicksilver ended the evening with Tom Ellar as Robin, afterwards Harlequin; Mr. Griffiths as Squire Brushwood, afterwards Clown; Mr. Abbott as Rentroll, afterwards Pantaloon; Mrs Loveday as Dorcas, afterwards Columbine; Miss Thompson as Puck the Fairy, and Mrs. Griffiths as the Housmaid. The pantomine included The Musical Automaton, a figure of the violinist Signor Paginini performing airs on the violin, dancing a Hornpipe on his head, a Spanish Fandango with castanets, and encountering a boa constrictor.
