The photograph features a scene in which the two figures are positioned in front of a fireplace. Coghlan is standing behind Tree, slightly to her right. His gaze is directed towards her as he holds up her coat. Tree is standing in front of Coghlan, her arms upraised, reaching towards the coat which Coghlan is holding out, and her gaze downcast.
