Afternoon dress in pale blue silk damask with a Chinese-style design showing fish, incense burners and flowers. Yoke, sleeves and the underskirt are made of spotted cream net, ruched and tucked. Wide band of lace around the bottom of the net underskirt panel. Skirt trained in the back. Dress trimmed throughout with embroidered braid of flowers and leaves. All this is mounted on a pale blue cotton lining. Bodice lining boned with cream silk waist-stay.
