Small box and cross pattèe covered in pinks silk taffeta. Both are edged with 3/16-inch (4 mm) woven lace of pink, white and black silk; the box edged with ½-inch (1.3 cm) wide bobbin lace of silver filé. The box is pasteboard rather than the typical sawdust and there are no pin holes to suggest use as a pin cushion. The box and cross and attached with a 3/16-inch (4 mm) woven lace of silk silk.
