Camberwick Green was the first in series of three children's television programmes set in the fictional Trumptonshire and broadcast on the BBC in the late 1960s as part of its Watch with Mother series. The other two programmes were Trumpton and Chigley. Each episode featured a story about one of the village's characters who appeared at the beginning out of a musical box. The five characters here each had their own story. Mr Carraway was the fishmonger who likes to fish.

| Physical description | Dressed plastic male figure with large black feet and mitten shaped hands. The ears and nose are moulded as part of the head and the eyes and eyebrows painted on. There is no mouth. The arms, legs and neck are of thin tubular plastic which can be bent. The figure is dressed in a pale blue jacket and trousers with a darker blue apron and a black tie. His hair, eyebrows and moustache are white and there is a moulded cream boater hat with a black band on the figure's head. |
