Place of origin

Rupert Sanderson specialises in shoes with sleek, graceful lines that are uninterrupted by superfluous ornament. Although streamlined, the Estelle shoes are by no means basic. The soft leather is beautifully cut and curved with a right-angled heel set at the very end of the back of the shoe, giving the shoe a geometric outline. Rupert Sanderson, a graduate of the Cordwainer College at London College of Fashion, worked in Italy with Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli before launching his own label in 2001. Sanderson was awarded the British Fashion Council's Accessory Designer of the Year in 2008 and the Accessory Designer at the Elle Style Awards in 2009.
