Teak knife box, covered with marquetry decoration and mother of pearl, enriched with silver mounts. The case has an ogee top and is slightly rounded off at the case, resting on a rectangular foot, around which is a moulding. The top is decorated with a rosette within a border of semicircles and the front, back and sides are decorated with floral scrollwork. The angles are bound with silver bands and the front ornamented with four silver knobs. There are two silver hinges for the lid and the inside is divided into 18 variously shaped compartments.
