Historical context note

The poster reproduces art work originally presented by the Docklands Community Poster Project on series of billboards in the Docklands area. Over a ten year period, the Docklands Community Poster Project, resisted the Governemnt's re-development of the Docklands area which catered to the interests of private investors rather than the needs of local people.
