Silver box, whose upper surface is a hinged lid. The lid is in repousse work and chased with a design representing a peacock or a hamsa (goose) in a wreath surrounded by four panels each with a pair of birds, perhaps peacocks, with their necks entwined. The sides, probably in repousse work, are chased with similar pairs of birds. The underside is chased with a chequerboard design of plain squares alternating with squares punch marked circles. The interior is lined with blue silk.
