Physical description
Publicity artwork for Bertram Mills' Circus and Menagerie, Olympia, London 1939-1940. The poster features a diagonal line of horses, with a male figure dressed in a white and red uniform riding the horse at the centre. They are shown standing in the midst of 'the ring'. A group of six horses are positioned either side of this central figure, six facing towards the viewer, and six facing away from the viewer. The horses are all wearing blue and silver harnesses with an integral plumed yellow headdress.
