Political poster depicting Henry Campbell-Bannerman sitting up in a brass bed, with a Union Jack flag hanging like a curtain to the left. He is dressed in a white nightshirt and night cap, staring at a drowned black cat, which is stalking up the bed towards him. Its eyes are red and water drips from its body, on the side of which is lettered 'Home Rule' in white. Two bricks are attached to the cat, one round the neck and the other around a back leg, reading “1886” and “1895”. Beneath is lettered 'Electors, Do Not be Deceived! Home Rule is not a nightmare, but is still a Danger to the Empire'. Lettered with printer's name and 'Cartoon No. 4'. Signed with initials in the bottom right hand corner of the bed.
