Physical description
Pen and ink and watercolour caricature drawing, showing a section of the audience during the interval at Covent Garden. A group of well-dressed ladies and gentlemen in evening dress, enjoying interval drinks. A lady in pink leans across the head of her shorter companion to talk to a lady in blue. A speech bubble contains the words 'Actually this is Rodney's 25th Siegfried'. Rodney is wearing an evening jacket, frilled shirt and black tie, with a sword in a swordbelt, sandals and green and red diamond patterned socks. Signed.
