Glazed porcelain figurine representing Enrico Caruso as The Duke of Mantua in Giuseppe Verdi's opera Rigoletto, standing on a circular white base, wearing pale gold knee breeches and shirt, a maroon tunic edged with gold buttons, and a long white train fastened over the shoulders with gilt chain. He holds a hat down by his side with his right hand, and his belt with his left hand. The base is decorated with his name in gilt lettering. The base bears the marker's mark for Studio 21, Sheffield, the name of the modeller Derek Stapley and the number of the limited edition, 100/2500.
