A decorative vignette drawn in blue ballpoint pen on thin white copy paper. ‘Creation’ is written in hand-lettering in the centre of the design, and is surrounded by flourishes in the style of 18th century engravings. Various illustrations surround the lettering in a wreath-like formation. Clockwise from top: three rolls of fabric; millinery mannequins with the unfinished crowns of hats; a pin cushion and cotton reel; a bunch of feathers; a measuring tape overlaid with four pairs of scissors; sections of spotted netting; an open sketchbook with a sketch of a lady in a hat with drawing implements below; three flowers; a bundle of tape; a cup, a mug marked ‘TEA’ and a teapot; an iron and some hats; a rabbit appearing from an upturned top hat; sketches of men in flat caps; reels of ribbon; a bow with several feathers protruding.
