Physical description
Costume design for a ginger-haired clown dressed in outsize trousers, made for a television show, 1969. Watercolour, ballpoint pen and felt tip pen, annotated with costume details and the name 'Maggie Goodwin' [?]. This design was drawn on the same sheet of paper as S.213-1983. At some stage the sheet was cut in two, separating the two designs. They have been mounted together in a spiral-bound artist's sketchbook, forming one sheet again.
