"Michael English (born 1942) and Nigel Waymouth (born 1941) Hung on You. Poster for a King's Road clothes shop 1967 Screenprint E.1714-1991 'Hung on You' was a King's Road boutique owned by Michael Rainey which specialised in men's clothes. In 1966, Michael English had painted the facade of the shop. This poster reflects the artist's wide interests in far, near and middle eastern culture. Details include Krishna figures, Chinese inscriptions, pseudo-Arabic lettering, lotus blossoms, and magic mushrooms." Text by Julia Bigham
