"Each of these texts has been given a concrete or typographical treatment by Philip Gallo at the Hermetic Press in Minneapolis using a broad and eccentric range of metal typefaces.

The writing and typography is complemented by Barbara Fahrner's printed linocuts; and extensive hand work of drawn and painted imagery using pen & ink and watercolor.

Published in conjunction with a solo exhibition of Ms. Fahrner's books and drawings at our New York City gallery January 1991. Printed on Rives BFK. Forty-five copies have been made and handbound by Daniel Kelm at the Wide Awake Garage in East Hampton MA.

Ten copies are press lettered a-j and are hors commerce; 35 copies press lettered 1-35. And all copies have been signed by each of the collaborators"--Publisher's leaflet.

Artist's book; gray paper over boards; title blocked in pale blue on front cover; board sheets (of green paper paint-sprayed in several colours) consist of a single sheet functioning as a concertina guard; text block sewn at the spine in three places; lining consists of three small strips of fabric, at the stitching points, to make the green guard visible.
