Object history
From the Collection of Dwight Lanmon, acquired by him from Herbert Schiffer Antiques, Whitford, Exton, Pennsylvania, in 1966. Previous provenance not known but probably bought locally by Schiffer. It is possible that it might have been imported new to America in the early 18th century.
