William Orpen 1878-1931 The Draughtsman and his Model 1910; exhibited at the Coronation Exhibition, London 1911 Orpen was an Irish artist who became fashionable portrait painter in London. This watercolour belonged to Alfred Rich, himself a painter. Like Orpen, he was a member of the New English Art Club.
