Object history note

This photograph is part of 30 photographs from Cairo and Giza, given to the V&A on the 3rd of May 1927 by Dr. Walter Leo Hildburgh (1876 - 1955), an American art collector who gave or bequeathed over 5,000 gifts to the V&A.
