Woman is wearing a blue dress with a white apron over it and a white bonnet with a possible red neckerchief. She is bent over, turned away from the viewer. The trough is long and made of stone, water flows from a pipe into it. A black cart is positioned in the mid left foreground. Buildings in background are predominately brown. Large imposing chalet on the right. Small stone cut through facade in front. Sky is dark blue with white clouds.
