Physical description

Drawing in watercolour over pencil of a bowl containing a red, a pink, a yellow and a pink and yellow rose and pieces of fern in a light blue bowl. Purple, red and green plums in front of bowl. Wooden panelling behind the bowl. White space around outlines of all the fruit and flowers not filled by the background.

Object history note

Acquired by the V&A from Leslie Linder (1904-1973) in 1973 as part of the Linder Bequest, a collection of ca. 2150 watercolours, drawings, literary manuscripts, correspondence, books, photographs, and other memorabilia associated with Beatrix Potter and her family.
