The Starplayer football board game is a family game suitable for the over 8s and designed to be played by between 2 and 4 players or teams. One can play a short version which lasts about 45 minutes or a longer one which takes twice as long. It is mostly a game of chance and one does not have to know anything about football to play it.

| Physical description | Colour printed box sealed in plastic. The top is illustrated with seven football players with six footballs playing on a football pitch with stands full of people in the background. The title of the game is printed below the players with the use of a star in place of the first letter a in the word Starplayer. The reverse of the box has a photographic illustration of the game board and some of the player cards. There is a written description of what the game is about and some suggestions of what to do. There is also a printed list of the game contents. All four sides of the box have the same illustration - the title Starplayer with a football player on either side of the word, one shooting and one saving. |
