The Starplayer football board game is a family game suitable for the over 8s and designed to be played by between 2 and 4 players or teams. One can play a short version which lasts about 45 minutes or a longer one which takes twice as long. It is mostly a game of chance and one does not have to know anything about football to play it.

Physical description
Colour printed box sealed in plastic. The top is illustrated with seven football players with six footballs playing on a football pitch with stands full of people in the background. The title of the game is printed below the players with the use of a star in place of the first letter a in the word Starplayer.
The reverse of the box has a photographic illustration of the game board and some of the player cards. There is a written description of what the game is about and some suggestions of what to do. There is also a printed list of the game contents.
All four sides of the box have the same illustration - the title Starplayer with a football player on either side of the word, one shooting and one saving.
