Watercolour entitled 'The River Orwell, and the bridge near Ipswich'. The exact locality represented was identified by Mr Ralph Thomas as the river Orwell and the Bourne Bridge at Wherstead near Ipswich; behind the ship - a two masted top sail schooner - the roof of the old Ostrich Inn is visible. The bridge was widened in 1891, but was rebuilt on the old lines. Signed and dated by the artist.
