Floris Neusüss (born 1937)
From the portfolio ‘Körperbilder’
1960–70

Floris Neusüss has dedicated his career to exploring
the photogram – photographic images made without
a camera. In his Körperfotogramms (‘whole-body photograms’), bodies appear to leap or float, as
though caught in space. The figures often suggest
an underlying narrative of sensuality, dreams and
the subconscious.
