This hand painted poster was issued in support of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam, commonly known as the Viet Cong. A mother with babe in arms, hails the advance of a troop of Viet Cong soldiers. Every element in the poster- the people, flag and text flow from left to right conveying a sense of forward momentum and intended to spur on the Viet Cong's victory in the American-Vietnam War.
