The American Beth Van Hoesen (1926-2010) was an artist and prolific printmaker. Her work is represented in many major American public collections including the Museum of Modern Art, New York. She was a skilled draughtsman, producing sensitive etched portraits of friends and family, life studies and images of babies and children, but her subject matter was dominated by fruit, flowers and animals.
