David Singer produced 66 posters for Bill Graham and the Fillmore Auditorium (a legendary music venue in San Francisco, California). He was also the last artist to produce an original series for the Fillmore. Singer's designs employ diverse collaged elements, drawn from both photographic and printed sources, to produce fantastic and often surreal scenes.

Physical description
Psychedelic poster advertising a concert for Country Joe and the Fish. The central image features a collaged engraving of a forest scene with a young woman playing a lyre to an assorted group of animals. Three nudes, two male, and one that appears to be an old woman, their posture twisted as if they are in pain, stand just outside this scene. The scene is printed in black ink, and the background graduates from a yellow top half, through green, to a blue lower half. The event details are printed in black, stylised letters, on all four sides of the image. The text reads, 'Bill Graham Presents in San Francisco, Country Joe and the Fish, Blues Image, Silver Metre. Brotherhood of Light, May 28-29-30-31 Fillmore West'.

The poster has creases across the entire surface.
