Scarf
Betty Jackson founded her fashion design company in 1981, with her husband David Cohen. She quickly became an established name on the London fashion scene. Thie print used on this scarf is Jackson's first collaboration with textile artist Brian Bolger, of the Cloth. The Cloth was an art and design collective formed by David Band, Fraser Taylor, Brian Bolger and Helen Manning. The designers met at London’s Royal College of Art and worked together from 1983-7, designing textiles but also record sleeves and fashion collections. After this print, Jackson and Bolger went on to collaborate on a number of other successful designs.
