A mounted black and white topographical photograph of an interior, Room 12, in the ruins of the Great Iwan, at Hatra, Iraq, showing a detail of a shallow pilaster on the north wall with an ovolo moulded string course. The pilaster termintates above an arch partially filled-in with rubble. The pilaster has three carved bas-relief masks, including a bearded mask and two men with short hair. The Eastern wall has a simple arch detail which has been filled-in with dressed stone.
