Print entitled 'Fruits of Intemperance' describing the evils of alcohol and the risks potentially incurred through drinking, inspired by the Temperance Movement. There are 36 images across the branches of a large tree, with gravestones at the bottom reading 'Early Fruit'. At the bottom of the tree are depicted various ways in which people might begin drinking socially or harmlessly, but the themes depicted further up the tree become more grave, including 'Insanity', 'Manslaughter', 'Murder', and 'The Gibbet' at the top.
