This Crocodile is part of two sets made and used by the Punch professor Edward Charles Webb of Stepney who usually performed his shows in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and Hertfordshire. He had two sets of figures and booths because his son and his son-in-law both worked shows.

This is a figure from one of two sets of Punch & Judy figures created by Professor Webb and handed down to his granddaughter who gave them to the museum.
