This Baby is part of two sets made and used by the Punch professor Edward Charles Webb of Stepney who usually performed his shows in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex and Hertfordshire. He had two sets of figures and booths because his son and his son-in-law both worked shows.

Physical description | Stuffed figure of Baby with carved and painted face, left hand, legs and boots. He has painted eyes, rabbit fur hair and a chubby face, and wears a yellow, beige, brown and blue patterned woven cotton romper suit with a white cotton bib edged with cotton lace. The right sleeve is damaged and the right hand is missing. |
