Obverse: pencil and watercolour design for floor tile borders. Reverse: possibly three unrealised preliminary designs in pencil and ink for terracotta putti on columns dividing ground-floor windows of the courtyard of the South Kensington Museum. The putto on the right is standing, facing forwards, holding a large letter 'V'. The putto in the middle is standing, facing forwards, surrounded by foliage, and holding a crown above its head. The third putto is winged and is standing in profile holding what appears to be a cornucopia.
