This marble was found on the banks of the River Thames by a professional 'Mudlark'. It is an example of a late nineteenth century marble, and is made of ceramic. It has been painted with three blue lines around the circumference of the marble, and a flower design painted in green twice. There has been significant cracking to the marble, giving an almost mosaic appearance.

Physical description
Mainly white ceramic marble, with three dark blue lines running the circumference of the marble. A green flower design has been painted twice onto the marble. The ceramic has significantly cracked, giving an almost mosaic appearance.
