This is a typical late-1970s short-sleeved t-shirt, featuring two fastenable breast pockets and machine-stitched deailing. It was worn by the donor during the first eight years of his life growing up in Mold, North Wales and kept until its donation to the museum.

Brief description
Boy's blue shirt with two breast pockets and stitched detailing. Bought by the donor between 1974 and 1982.
Physical description
Pale blue short-sleeved shirt with two breast pockets, fastened with pale blue buttons. There is stitched detailing across the shirt, especially on the left arm, and above the pockets. The stitching is in white, green, ochre and red. The shirt has a small loose collar.

This shirt was donated to the museum by the original owner and wearer, Alan Bower. It comes from the first eight years of his life, and he kept it until its donation to the museum. This shirt is typical of the late 1970s.
