The design features the half-length figure of a man in shadow, with his hands held out before him, shown as larger in proportion showing their close proximity to the viewer. His hands are cupped and holding cereal seeds, such as wheat, which spill and fall. The composition is entirely in blue and olive, with black areas. Above this image is the message, 'Health is Wealth', in red letters, and below the figure, 'United Nations', and in a larger font, 'World Health Organization'.
