Etching on copper, printed on paper, depicting Nathaniel Plimer, the miniaturist, in later years. Head and shoulders portrait, clean shaven with a blotched complexion and wearing a broad-brimmed hat. First state impression, before letters, depicting the head and left shoulder only.
