Tunic

1920 - 1929 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This delicate silk tunic was work by the donor, Eileen Brock, in the 1920s. Eileen was a keen dancer and actress, so it may have been a stage costume. The tunic is handmade and the embroidery pattern is quite simple, suggesting that Eileen (born 1915) may have embellished it herself.
