This Sindy 'Skating Girl' outfit from 1963 is a full ice-skaters outfit, consisting of clothing for Sindy to wear, and the ice skates. The outfit was revised and re-released in 1968 in a boxed set called 'Ice Skater'.

Physical description

The skating skirt is in a red felt, with a white popper at the back to secure the skirt around the waist.

The jumper, hood and scarf are all knitted in a black, red and white pattern. The hood and scarf are adorned with white pom-poms.

The tights are red cotton with an elasticated waist.

The mittens are white felt with red stitching.

The ice skates are in moulded white plastic, with moulded laces.

This outfit was produced originally in 1963, but was slightly revised and reissued under the name 'Ice Skater' in 1968.

Descriptive line

Sindy 'Skating Girl' outfit consisting of a skirt, jumper, hood, tights, mittens and ice skates. The outfit is predominantly in red, but where a pattern is featured, it is red, black and white. The pom poms on the ends of the scard and on the hood are white, though some editions feature red.
