Rectangular casket with hinged lid. Wood, covered with cut and embossed black leather; the three panels in the front, the three at the back and two on the cover, contain knights on horseback. The centre panel on the lid is filled in with a shield of arms enclosed within a wreath and the two ends are decorated with arabesque ornament. Lined with crimson velvet.
