Studies for The Model Project
2008-09
In 2008 Nessim collaborated with the photographer Karl Rudisill on The Model Project. The aim was to examine ideas about beauty, desire and women’s relationship with fashion. She later used Rudisill’s photographs of model Kimberly Lamb as the basis for collages. The accompanying book records the photo shoot and Nessim’s simultaneous drawings, as well as the collages.
